I’m going to totally substitute the beef with turkey meat and scarf down a bunch of this for dinner. Thank you for this delicious dish.
Carbs are the best!!! This looks right up my alley 🙂
We have pizza every Friday, this looks like a fun spin on it!
This looks so good!! Pizza is the one food I could never give up, so I am all about putting that flavor into a baked pasta!
This is a recipe every family would love. This looks so easy and tasty. Wonderful idea making pizza casserole. I really enjoyed seeing your recipes this month and choosing something from your blog. I love the combination of flavors and of course anything with cheese on it is a good thing, LOL!
Absolutely LOVING this!! Pizza is one of the best things in the world and this is such a comforting version, can?t wait to make this, it?s miserable and raining outside so I could do with a big plate!
Sounds great! We’re not big pizza fans. Lots and lots of cheese. 🙂
Made this tonight and the whole family loved it! I made a few changes because i only had 1 jar pizza sauce so i added half a jar of spaghetti sauce instead and it turned out great! I think just pizza sauce wouldn’t be as good both me and husband thought, I also added extra cheese mixed in the sauce. Will make again Thanks! This would be a great freezer meal too!
Could I makes this in the morning, keep in fridge to back that evening?
Yes, you can make this dish ahead of time.
Is this a good do ahead freezer meal?
You could make it work. My worry is the pasta. Pasta is tricky when freezing it. So when converting this casserole into a freezer meal, the pasta should have been cooked just up to al dente and not beyond.
We loved this recipe so much! I also made it Gluten free with GF rotini. FYI in your recipe it does not say when to add the cheese. I am assumed step 4 is when to add the cheese since step 3 and 4 are the same.
Thanks so much for catching that. I went in and fixed the recipe so that it is now correct.
My family loved this pizza! It’s definitely a keeper. My kids gave it a 5 out of 5 stars.
